So. I purchased the template and I have set the files into my IIS web directory. I am running IIS 10 on windows server 2019. I get the dashboard page to load, except for no map, no dropdown arrows and it will no link to any of the sub-menus (also they do not drop-down like the E-commerce does not open to show its sub-menus). The Geo-Locations number does not count up it is static, no settings icon in the top right of the page, no moving graph the list goes on... I have been trying to get it to work for about four hours and no luck. I installed node.js onto the server but not sure what else needs to be done. So, I must have missed something, not sure what... Any help would be appreciated.
Get it to work on IIS
I am running on a windows server 2019 Machine. It is running IIS as the main webserver. and the page had the issues I mentioned before. I have moved it to a Nginx server fresh install on the same machine and still the same issues. no error in the error logs. Just it is always the same issues.
not running a demo. I noticed that there is no nodemodules directory in the zip file I was sent. So none of the bootstrap functions work. Also, do I need to run this on a NodeJs server, not an Nginx server? Not real clear instructions on how to set this up on a PC. The directions you did have I followed and they do not work on my server. The site is up on www.medic6578.com so you can see the issues I have.
I am the hosting company. The site comes up (but not everything is working) but the rest is not intuitive in any way. Not sure what else I need. It looks as though What was sent me in the template is not everything I need. not a lot of documentation about setting up the site. What is there does not work on a PC. So I am stuck at this point without a little guidance.
So a weird thing. When I load the vector maps page I get the World map twice. the one in the main frame and then another on below it. I can zoom in with my mouse scroll wheel and it seems to be sitting just below and slightly on top of the one that is supposed to be there. If I refresh the page the extra map goes away. Viewing it on the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, and Safari
Actually, I found out what the issue was I needed to have "data-no-pjax" in the sidenav a href link. I do though have a second question. I have a git hub Twitter widget that I can not get to run. Not sure what I need to do to get it to run. I have put it in my directory "node_modules/react-twitter-widgets" not sure what I need to use to get it to work. Not sure what .js file is needed to call the widget or what I need to put in my HTML to call it. I know it is a lot to ask but I am stuck... At the moment I am embedding "react-twitter-widgets/stories/4-Timeline.stories.js" not sure though what HTML code I need to call the widget or if that is the correct code. My goal is to show Timeline and post tweets from the backend ( automated no user interface) from the page to my Twitter page. I am using andrewsuzuki/react-twitter-widgets from github.
Thanks in Advance, Jay
Hi Jay,
I am really sorry but we could not help to make any customization to your code as we provide support only if you have some issues on starting the template locally.
But here is the very detailed doc on what you need to do for creating widgets: https://www.npmjs.com/package/react-twitter-widgets
If you have any other questions - please let us know!
Best regards,
Eugene
