Hi Flatlogic team, is there a resource on where and how you guys handle the hosting of generated sites? I think what I'm asking has to do with using the sites generated for production use - is it worthy? Can the data be lost? What sort of measures are in place for database safety and that sort of thing I know this is a hard question but I'm really liking what I see so far but I'm nervous about data loss - that would look very bad for me if a customer loses data Any info (don't be afraid to go in massive detail since that will be helpful for me) - would be appreciated. Thanks!!! As a developer - this will be a game changer for me!
Reliability of hosting
Hi there, Yes, we handle the hosting of generated applications. I understand your concerns about hosting and data safety. Flatlogic Generator deploys your generated applications to the cloud, ensuring they are production-ready. We use robust cloud hosting providers that offer high reliability and scalability. Here are a few key points to address your concerns:
Hosting and Deployment: We utilize reputable cloud services to host your applications, ensuring they are accessible and performant. The hosting environment is designed to handle production workloads.
Data Safety and Backup: The databases used in your generated applications are managed with best practices for data safety. Regular backups are performed to prevent data loss. The cloud providers we partner with also have built-in redundancy and failover mechanisms to protect your data.
Security Measures: Security is a top priority. We implement industry-standard security protocols, including encryption for data at rest and in transit, access control mechanisms, and regular security audits to protect against vulnerabilities.
Production Readiness: The generated applications are fully equipped with features like user authentication, authorization, and role-based access control, making them suitable for production use.
Scalability: Our solutions are designed to scale with your business needs, allowing you to grow your application without worrying about performance bottlenecks.
Alesia, thanks for the response, I appreciate it, just hoping the servers can handle a few thousand connections when my app launched BUT I have some more support forum posts that need answering first - there's a bug with adding schema entities and redeploying - it doesn't create new forms for the new entities
Can you please clarify what client forms mean? We manually create both entities and fields as we edit, so what you create is what you put into the form.
Please also check our documentation page on how to work with the schema editor in the application settings: https://flatlogic.com/documentation/working-with-app-edditing-application
